Lila the Alchemist is a local community that combines inner transformation with creative action. Together, we are fusing ancient wisdom with modern science & technology to regenerate the living field of relationships that we have always been part of — nature, culture, and spirit.
When we trace these relations to their source, we discover an inexhaustible desire to be in service to life. And with support from those around us, we are journeying to cultivate the unique gifts that are ours to give.
We know we are at our best when we are moving, playing, learning, conversing, and creating with people we care about, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

With over seven years of experience doing this with small groups, we are now offering a space for the people of Howick to practice deepening their inner life.

Help us restore a commons of care… we offer weekly service to all beings in our local environment — plants, animals, minerals, and people.
Creativity
Creativity is not something that we do, it’s what we are.
Once we feel grounded in our belonging, our next desire is to express ourselves in a way that matters to the world around us — to find purpose in our short time here on earth.
Our little ecosystem offers physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual resources that can help bring your creative calling to life, or put you on the path to discovering it.
